For Companies

1

Registration:

First companies need to register on the platform. Registration includes the submission of a list of data and supporting documents. After the application is submitted, the platform team will be in contact with the company to initiate discussions and request further documents if necessary.
2

Due Diligence & Decision Making:

Before being listed on the platform, companies undergo a thorough in-house screening and third-party due diligence process. The due diligence check ensures that the business which is applying to raise funds is legitimate. The platform team ensures that the company fulfills all the criteria to raise funds and has the necessary corporate and legal documents in place. Additionally, background checks are done on the team and founders to ensure that there is no history of fraud or other relevant criminal activity. Following due diligence, the investor advisory committee will either approve or reject the applicant company.
3

Online Company Profile:

Once approved, the platform team will work with the applicant company to develop a detailed company profile or prospectus that will be shared online with a pool of vetted investors. Only registered and vetted investors that sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be able to see the online company profile.
4

Follow-up & Meetings:

All questions raised by investors are forwarded to the applicant company through IDAL. IDAL will act as the mediator or intermediary to help companies and investors find an agreement and close a deal. IDAL will facilitate meetings between investors and companies and guide them through the process.
5

Agreement:

Once an agreement is reached or once the funds are completely raised, the profile of the company is removed from the platform.

For Investors

1

Registration:

Investors, whether institutional or individual, that want to access information on the companies featured on the platform need to register by submitting an online application form. After the application is submitted, the platform team will be in contact with the investor to initiate discussions and request further documents if necessary.
2

Due Diligence & Decision Making:

Investors, just like companies, undergo a thorough in-house screening and third-party due diligence process. The due diligence check ensures that the investors are legitimate people with sound financial and legal background. The platform team reviews the data and list of supportive documents submitted by the investors in order to make sure that the investors have no history of fraud or illicit/criminal activities. Following due diligence, the investor advisory committee will either approve or reject the applicant investor.
3

Follow-up & Meetings:

All questions raised by investors are forwarded to the applicant company through IDAL. IDAL will facilitate meetings between investors and companies and guide them through the process.
4

Agreement:

IDAL will act as the mediator or intermediary to help companies and investors find an agreement and close a deal. The investor profile remains active on the platform as long as the investor is still looking for investment opportunities in Lebanon.
